Cognitive Computing
Edition #117 | 28th Mar 2025
Hello!!
Welcome to the new edition of Business Analytics Review!
In today’s edition, we are going to discuss Cognitive Computing which refers to a branch of artificial intelligence designed to mimic human thought processes and enhance decision-making by simulating how the human brain works.
Cognitive Computing is not about replicating human consciousness but rather about creating systems that can handle complex, ambiguous, or unstructured data in a way that feels intuitive and human-like. At its core, cognitive computing combines several technologies—such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and reasoning algorithms—to enable systems to perceive, learn, reason, and interact with humans in a more natural way.
